The Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA) is the official agency for the collection, analysis and dissemination of quantitative information about higher education in the UK. HESA gathers information from higher education providers in the UK on behalf of various government departments, regulators and funding bodies.

Who can access the HESA identity system (IDS)?

All current Student and Student Alternative record contacts will access this system through a new HESA Identity System (IDS) role.
We will issue this role ahead of the system opening.
Record contacts can issue roles to any colleagues at their provider who will also be involved in the submission process ready for the HDP go-live.
