The Assisted Decision-Making (Capacity) Act 2015 is a new law that supports the rights of people to make their own decisions. We call it “the 2015 Act”. The 2015 Act helps us to do what it says in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD).
