The Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree requires a full-time, four year commitment with an emphasis on biomedical sciences and clinical care.
Applicants to the DDS program are reviewed in a holistic manner with consideration to all components of the application, including:

Many general dentists cobble together their own training through attending a myriad of day and weekend courses, hoping to achieve proficiency.
This method leaves holes in the educational experience and inhibits true proficiency in the art and science of dental surgery.

The course combines self-paced online didactic instruction with live online model work.
This 22 hour program is designed to provide general dentists with the knowledge, techniques and protocols to efficiently, effectively and safely perform surgical extractions and related procedures with expertise and confidence.

Residents interface and collaborate with dental and medical colleagues locally and abroad as they gain a better appreciation for the scientific basis of the specialty and biomedical sciences.
The Advanced Training Program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery trains individuals to be competent in all phases of the specialty.
