Routine dental care for family‐members is referred to the local civilian community through the TRICARE dental insurance program.

Family members need to be enrolled at least 30 days before making an appointment to ensure eligibility.

The JBER Hospital is composed of a combined DOD and VA workforce of more than 1,300 personnel across six squadrons who provide world-classcare to Alaska’s service members, their families and veterans from across the state.

Our Dental Clinic on the second floor of the JBER Hospital provides a full range of services to active-duty service members including:

1. general dentistry
2. endodontics
3. periodontics
4. oral and maxillofacial surgery
5. implants and prosthodontics

Orthodontic services are limited to the treatment of severe malocclusion.
