If you take Chemistry and Biology, but not Maths or Physics, then the majority of Dentistry courses will be open to you with the right grades.

What GCSEs do you need for dental school?

Most dental schools insist that you have A-levels in Biology and Chemistry

The minimum grade requirements for GCSE can vary greatly between universities

For example, the University of Birmingham requires 8 (A*) or above in GCSE Biology and Chemistry and 7 (A) or above for Maths and English

What is the Graduate Entry dentistry course?

The Graduate Entry Dentistry course is designed to enable graduates with honours degrees in science subjects, and healthcare professionals with a degree, to study for a BDS

These degrees are usually four years in duration, but some may be shorter or longer than this

Only open to applicants from the UK

Dental school applicants need to achieve high grades, normally between 144–168 UCAS points, although unis will also make contextual offers.
