Since 1967, over 165 residents have satisfactorily completed their residencies at Augusta University, and 9 are currently in training.
The majority of trainees are in the full-time clinical practice of Dermatology, with the majority being located in the Southeastern United States, and thirteen practicing in Augusta.

Graduates will be poised to provide competent and compassionate dermatologic care to all patients with dignity, respect, and professionalism.
Our program is a part of the Emory University School of Medicine, a leading academic medical center in the Southeast.
Rotations are one month in duration.

The Emory Dermatology training program focuses on training a diverse cohort of future dermatologists who aspire to become local, regional, or international leaders in the field of dermatology.

Didactics take place every Tuesday morning from 8am to 9am and Thursday mornings from 8am to noon Emory Dermatology is just one of the many residency training programs within Emory Graduate Medical Education (GME), one of the largest medical training programs in the country set in one of the Southeast’s leading academic medical centers.
