As part of Virgin Care’s response to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreak, we are putting measures in place to protect patients, visitors and staff.
1) Where possible we ask that you attend all clinical appointments on your own.
2) Children who are attending appointments should be accompanied by one adult only.
3) Do not bring children and family me.

How Long Will The Appointment take?
Each appointment is dependent on your needs so appointment times will vary however, most first and follow up appointments will usually take 15 minutes and minor surgery 30 minutes.
Please allow up to one hour for your appointment.

What Happens During My appointment?
During the appointment, you may be required to have an investigation such as a blood test or a biopsy.
This may take place on the same day or you may need to come back another time.
If you need to have a follow-up appointment, then this will be offered at a time that is convenient to you.

Where Do I Go For My appointment?
The service is held at the Oldham Integrated Care Centre.
This is in the town centre opposite the bus station.
We operate out of level five of the building.
Your appointment letter will give all the information you need.
If you need to bring children with you, please arrange for someone to supervise them during your appointment.

A new Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) in Oldham has started welcoming its first patients.

Who is referred to our community dermatology service?
Our community dermatology service is consultant-led and accepts referrals for patients of all ages.
All referrals are triaged with some conditions seen initially by our nurse specialist, who is supported by the consultant.
