Our all-volunteer membership—approximately 150 artists and supporters of the arts—arrange exhibits, shows, online classes, and other means to further local art in the community. Our art gallery, the Guild’s largest program, has 50-plus displaying artists and Manatee County, Florida high school student artwork on display.
Center volunteers and staff, many of them TECO Energy retirees, answer questions and provide additional educational information. The Manatee Viewing Center’s mission is to educate the public about the Florida manatee and its habitat. The center is a state and federally designated manatee sanctuary.
