What is Astronomy Camp?
Astronomy Camp was the educational heart of UArizona's proposal to NASA to build NIRCam on the James Webb Space Telescope. The resulting 20-year partnership with the Girl Scouts of the USA, and later with the SETI Institute, "Trained the Trainers" so young women could engage in hands-on STEM activities related to JWST and new Space Science badges .
