Astrophysics study meaning

×Astrophysics is the study of astronomical objects through the principles of physics and chemistry. It seeks to understand the origin, evolution, and destiny of the Universe and its constituent galaxies, stars, and planets. Astrophysicists examine objects like the sun, solar system, exoplanets, dark matter, black holes, the interstellar medium, and other relevant parts of our cosmology. The field applies the laws of physics and chemistry to seek to understand the universe and our place in it. Astrophysics has two sibling sciences, astronomy and cosmology. Theoretical and observational physics provides a basis for analyzing and understanding bodies that are too far for us to visit physically or even measure directly.
