,The school, to be held in San Cristóbal de La Laguna (Tenerife, Spain) from November 8^th to 15^th 2023, will admit about 50 advanced MSc students, PhD students and early career Post-Docs.
In a relaxed environment, the school will give participants the opportunity to learn from world-renowned specialists.

What is a winter school on solar physics?

As part of this ongoing activity, we conduct an annual winter school on Solar Physics in the month of January every year at the Kodaikanal Solar Observatory

The participants will be introduced to the subject of solar astronomy, along with an overview of current research topics and unsolved problems in solar physics

What is the Astrophysics program?

This program supports the astrophysics section of the Year 11 Physics course, Unit 1, Area of study 3, “What is matter and how is it formed?” The session runs for one hour and students will have the opportunity to see two complementary ways of visualising the Universe
