Autobiography writing definition

What is the meaning of autobiography?

An autobiography (from the Greek, αὐτός-autos self + βίος-bios life + γράφειν-graphein to write) is a self-written account of the life of oneself

The word "autobiography" was first used deprecatingly by William Taylor in 1797 in the English periodical The Monthly Review, when he suggested the word as a hybrid, but condemned it as "pedantic"

×An autobiography is a self-written narrative that covers the author’s life experiences, achievements, and challenges. It is a non-fictional narration written by a writer about their own life from their perspective. Autobiographies are often written in the first person and are intended to provide readers with a personal and intimate view of the author’s life.
