I can understand why people don't bother with it, it (can take) a reasonable amount of money and headache to get a car engineered
It depends on the mods and the engineer, for major mods (like major engine swaps, etc) it can be upwards of$800
For smaller mods, I'm not sure
Should I get an engineer certificate?
My line of thinking is more aimed at is it worth just clearing the defects and or paying the fines or is getting an engineer certificate a financially viable option
It always the better option if your car is legal and is consistently legal when you get stopped eventually the officers in your area win know your car is clean
