Auto feature engineering tools
What are the best open-source feature engineering tools?
Featuretools is by far the best feature engineering tool I’ve come across
There are many papers on various different methods, but most of them don’t have open source code implemented yet
Autofeat is another good feature engineering open-source library
It automates feature synthesis, feature selection, and fitting a linear machine learning model
Why is feature engineering important?
In recent years, the importance of feature engineering has been confirmed by the exceptional performance of deep learning techniques, that automate this task for some applications
With the demand for machine learning increasing, so does the demand for tools which make it easier to use
Let’s start with a couple of examples. Here, we have a categorical feature column with certain fruit: ‘banana’, ‘pineapple’ and ‘unkno…

Software Product Lines Online Tools (S.P.L.O.T.) is a set of research-oriented online tools for Software Product Lines (SPL) practitioners.
S.P.L.O.T. was created by Marcilio Mendonca during his Ph.D. at the University of Waterloo, Canada, in 2008–2009.
Since then, the academic website has been visited by numerous researchers and research groups worldwide thereby helping to advance the Software Product Lines field.
S.P.L.O.T's source code are freely available on GitHub and have been successfully extended by others to address different research needs.
