×ISO/TC 20 is a Technical Committee of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) responsible for developing and maintaining standards for aircraft and space vehicles. The committee covers the standardization of materials, components, and equipment for construction and operation of aircraft and space vehicles, as well as equipment used in the servicing and maintenance of these vehicles. EN9100:2018 is the most recent standard for organizations that design, develop, or provide aviation, space, and defense products and services. It standardizes quality management system requirements for companies involved with the aerospace industry and supply chain. IOSA can be shown to be more rigorous in quality assurance than ISO 9001.
