Certification, oversight and enforcement 1

   The Commission, the Agency and the Member States shall cooperate within a single European aviation safety system to ensure compliance with this Regulation and with the delegated and implementing acts adopted on the basis thereof

The proposed Regulation aims to ensure a level playing field among actors of the aviation single market, and gear the sector with robust rules ensuring its competitiveness, while stepping up its sustainability

The legal text will include detailed aviation-specific provisions to cater for the complexities of the sector
