Admission requirements – honours biochemistry (BHSc)6 units of BIOLOGY 1A03 and BIOLOGY 1M036 units of CHEM 1A03 and CHEM 1AA33 units of MATH 1A03 or MATH 
Course requirements for admission: Level I and II of an undergraduate program such as Chemical Biology, Biochemistry, Life Science or Health Science.
Honours biochemistry (BHSc) is a Level II entry program. Students typically apply at the end of their first year of undergraduate studies at McMaster University

There are Level II and III prerequisites for many Level III and IV courses.

Completion of one of BIOCHEM 4F09 A/B , 4T15 A/B or 4Z03 is required in Level IV.
Both CHEMBIO 2A03 and 2P03 are highly recommended for students interested in pursuing an undergraduate thesis or graduate studies in biophysical chemistry.
