Writing an argumentative essay yourself will require plenty of time. You can't just sit in front of your laptop and make a good point in a couple of hours. You need to analyze, to provide facts, quotations, share your ideas and views, show your achievements and awards (if any) and just help them to get to know you better.
Paragraph Structure. A useful way of understanding paragraph structure is to think of it as a block that is divided into three sections: the beginning, the middle, and the end. A basic paragraph follows this structure: Topic Sentence (TS) - the beginning. Needs to state ONE idea clearly.
? First, write a topic sentence that summarizes your point. This is the first sentence of your paragraph. ? Next, write your argument, or why you feel the topic sentence is true. ? Finally, present your evidence (facts, quotes, examples, and statistics) to support your argument. Now you have a body paragraph. Repeat for points two and three.
