Autism Ontario offers unique, local autism programs and services designed to support individuals with autism and their families in reaching their full potential.
At Autism Ontario, our goal is to support and advocate alongside all autistic individuals across the province, regardless of race, ethnicity, income, religion, sexual orientation, or gender identity.
The color blue is often associated with autism.
The reason for this is that blue is a calming color that can help individuals with autism to feel more relaxed and comfortable.
Blue is also the color of the puzzle piece in the autism awareness ribbon.
Multi-Colored Puzzle Piece Ribon
The symbol that most people associate with autism is the multi-colored, interlocking puzzle piece.
This symbol was created by 15 people, some of which had autism, and others were advocates of the disorder.
