Qu'est-ce que le bloc auriculoventriculaire du 3ème degré?

Le bloc atrioventriculaire du troisième degré est un trouble du rythme cardiaque (arythmie) grave qui peut affecter la capacité de pompage du cœur. Une fatigue, des étourdissements, et des évanouissements sont fréquents. Lorsque les ventricules se contractent à une fréquence de plus de 40 battements par minute, les symptômes sont moins graves.

Les blocs auriculo-ventriculaires (BAV) désignent des troubles de la conduction électrique entre les oreillettes et les ventricules. Ils constituent la cause la plus fréquente d'implantation de stimulateurs cardiaques en Suisse. On parle de BAV du premier degré lorsque seul le temps de la transmission de la pulsation est allongé.

Qu'est-ce que le bloc atrioventriculaire du deuxième degré ?

Dans le bloc atrioventriculaire du deuxième degré, seules certaines impulsions électriques atteignent les ventricules. Le cœur peut battre lentement, irrégulièrement, ou les deux. Certaines formes de bloc atrioventriculaire de deuxième degré évoluent en bloc atrioventriculaire du troisième degré.

Quels sont les signaux qui n’atteignent pas les ventricules ?

Tous les signaux n’atteignent pas les ventricules et certains battements cardiaques sont interrompus. Le bloc cardiaque du troisième degré (bloc auriculo-ventriculaire complet) est la forme la plus grave. Aucun des signaux électriques n’atteint les ventricules.
