How do I get BLS certified?
How to get a BLS certification
1Find an accredited course.
It's important to find an accredited course before you sign up and invest in classes to learn basic life support skills.
2) Enroll and study the course materials.
3) Take the exam.
4) Renew your certification.The AHA BLS Provider and AHA BLS Renewal on the AHA website both work exactly the same.
Our AHA BLS Provider is a blended course with a remote virtual hands-on skills check that counts as an in-person class.
You will receive the exact same 2 year AHA BLS certification just as if we had an in-person class.
How do I get my BLS certificate from Aha?
To pass the AHA BLS course, a score of 84% or higher is required.
Students must pass a skills test and a written exam.
Prior to the test, students will receive a course handbook.
Through AHA, students who successfully complete the course(s) become certified for two years.
How long does it take to complete AHA BLS online?
The online portion of HeartCode BLS can be completed in approximately 1 to 2 hours.
Time to complete the hands-on skills session varies from 60 minutes to 2 hours, depending on the experience of the student.
