How long is the aha instructor course?
The instructor class itself is an 8 hour program.
After the instructor training classroom session, candidates complete the third part of the training requirements by being observed teaching a full class.
This monitoring session takes approximately 4.5 hours.How do I become an Aha training center?
How Do I Become an AHA Training Center?
1Have a legal business name.
2) Teach AHA courses in accordance with the official AHA Guidelines.
3) Maintain at least five AHA Instructors who train at least 250 people collectively each year.
4) Own and maintain all equipment needed for teaching AHA courses.Basic Life Support (BLS) is available in two different training methods – blended learning and classroom training.
All BLS course options teach the same AHA science-based skills and result in the same AHA BLS Course Completion Card.
What can AHA BLS instructors teach?
As a BLS instructor, you are at the top of the umbrella to teach the BLS and all of the Heartsaver course options of First Aid, CPR, AED, and bloodborne pathogens courses.
If you become an AHA Heartsaver instructor, you can teach a combination of First Aid, CPR, AED, and bloodborne pathogens courses.
