What are the options of find command?
With the find command, you can find a file by name, pattern, modification time, size, owner and permission.
By default, it is available in all Linux operating systems.What is the find command type F?
find: The command used for file searching. <directory>: The directory where you want to start the search.
Replace this with the desired directory path. -type f: The option to specify that we are looking for regular files (f) and not directories or other types of files.If you are interested in finding only the FILES that have the name "demo1", find has a flag "-type f" that can enable you to search for files only.
If you want to look only for directories, please replace the "-type f" with "-type d".
What is find command in bash?
The find command traverses the specified directory ( ./GFG ) and looks for a file named “sample.txt.” If found, it displays the path to the file.
