What is the cbt4z concealed beam tie?
- Create beautiful looking post to beam connections with the CBT4Z concealed beam tie. The CBTZ system features a cylindrical design that can be installed with a regular drill bit. Pins secure the system together through the post and beam to create a solid structural connection without having to see an exposed post cap.

- Exterior walls and interior load-bearing walls constructed of adobe units shall have a continuous tie beam at the level of the floor or roof bearing and meeting the following requirements. 2109.3.4.7.1 Concrete tie beams.
