The introduction of a lab report states the objective of the experiment and provides the reader with background information.
State the topic of your report clearly and concisely (in one or two sentences).
Provide background theory, previous research, or formulas the reader should know.How long should an introduction be in a lab report?
Each section must include very specific content, as described below.
The typical length of an introduction is a few paragraphs to one page.In the Introduction explain to the reader the purpose of the laboratory.
You may include some background information that is relevant to your question of study, explaining why the question or topic is of significance.
