Le code Nace découle de la nomenclature européenne des activités économiques.
Il désigne l'activité exercée par votre entreprise.
Ce code sert de référence pour le relevé de statistiques à l'échelle européenne.
S'inscrivant dans le cadre de la simplification administrative, le Statec offre désormais un outil permettant la recherche en ligne du code NACE d'une entreprise.
Cette fonctionnalité est disponible sur la page d'accueil du "Portail à guichet unique pour entreprises" (www.entreprises.lu).

A la NAF rév. 2 est associée une nomenclature agrégée (NA 2008) qui regroupe les 615 classes de la NACE selon plusieurs niveaux d'agrégation : 10, 17, 21, 38, 64, 88, 129 ou 138 postes. Elle se substitue à la nomenclature économique de synthèse (NES) qui était en vigueur avant le 1er janvier 2008.
