How do I install the new firmware on my Bernina 830?
For installing the new firmware on your BERNINA 830 sewing computer, please take your user manual of the BERNINA 8-Series at hand: (Chapter: Setup Program). 6.1. Go to the “Setup-Program” of your BERNINA 830 Sewing computer. 6.2. Open the information section: 6.3. Touch three (3) times the button on the screen of your BERNINA 830. 6.4.
How much space does a Bernina 830 have?
With its generous dimensions, the BERNINA 830 offers significantly more working area than other BERNINA models –plenty of room for your creativity! Extended to 40 cm (15 in.), the BERNINA 830’s free arm leaves a generous 30 cm (12 in.) space to the right of the needle, letting you spread out your project and guide it comfortably.
Is there a firmware update for the B 880 & B 790?
Last year, we released a firmware update for the B 880 and B 790. As part of this update, the Embroidery Plus Upgrade was made available for these two machines, and included a host of great new embroidery features. In mid-January, updates were also provided for the B 770 QE, B 740, B 720 and B 700.

Compatibility of New Accessories
BERNINA Midi Hoop Once the update has been completed, the new Midi Hoopwill appear on the hoop menu. The hoop is automatically detected as soon as it is mounted.
