What is the American Heart Association CPR instructor course?
The American Heart Association CPR Instructor Course will allow the participant to teach all American Heart Association BLS level certification classes. The American Heart Association CPR Instructor Course is a three part course. Part one, the AHA Instructor Essentials course is completed on-line at home or work.

CPR guidelines are developed by the international scientific group, ILCOR. Independent training groups like the AHA, the American Red Cross, ProTrainings and others use ILCOR’s guidelines to develop their own curriculum. The only people who use the American Heart Association’s curriculum are independent instructors who pay the AHA to do so.
