How do I know if a Bartec heating cable is rated?
BARTEC heating cables are available for various rated voltages. Respective information is available in the BARTEC catalogue and from the technical department of BARTEC. Operate the respective heating cable only with the rated voltage provided for. The rated voltage is stated on the computer print-out of the heating cable layout.
How to install Bartec heating tapes?
The correct installation of BARTEC heating tapes requires the use of BARTEC connections, tape-to-tape joining and remote-end termination sets. These were developed specially for BARTEC heating tapes and tested and approved by various testing institutes.
How to use Bartec self-regulating trace heating cables?
Use BARTEC Self-regulating trace heating cables in accordance with the intended use and strictly comply with the operational data speci-fied in section Technical Data. Install all components of the trace heat-ing system carefully. Any defective component of the trace heating system must be re-placed before installation.
