  • How do you generate a filter in MATLAB?

    You can generate MATLAB code that constructs the filter you designed in filter designer from the command line.
    Select File > Generate MATLAB Code > Filter Design Function and specify the filename in the Generate MATLAB code dialog box.

  • Filters are a fundamental component of digital signal processing.
    As demonstrated by Mark Schwab, MATLAB® and Simulink® provide an app to design filters for digital signal processing called the Filter Designer app.
    It allows users to interactively design, quantize, and analyze single- and multi-rate filters.
