The Sustainable Finance Disclosures Regulation (SFDR) empowers the Commission to adopt delegated and implementing acts to specify how competent authorities and market participants shall comply with the obligations laid down in the directive.
One of those is the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation – also known as the SFDR for those of you who keep track of the acronyms.
SFDR's main purpose is to reorientate capital towards more sustainable businesses and increase transparency on sustainability among financial institutions and market participants.
