According to the show's official Web site, in one week the cast of Stomp goes through 30 brooms, eight trash-can lids, six trash cans, 12 boxes of matches and 200 liters of water.
Is there dialogue in stomp?
There is no speech, dialogue or plot. However, it does have two characteristics of traditional theater: mime and characterization. Each performer has an individual character which is distinct from the others. These characters are brought out through the mime and dance in the show.

“Instruments” they use include brooms, metal pipes, trash cans and lids, wooden dowels, even basketballs.
Originating in the United Kingdom in 1991, STOMP has performed over 20,000 times to more than 12 million people all across the world. How do the stomp make sounds?

Stomp does not use conventional percussion instruments, but does utilize trashcans, tea chests, plastic bags, plungers, boots, Zippo lighters, brooms, hubcaps, hands and feet.
