Is it worth it to upgrade on Eurostar?
I upgraded my Eurostar ticket from London to Brussels to first class for only $12 more.
The carriage was significantly more spacious than standard class and I also got a meal.
I even got my own single seat, with no one directly next to or opposite me._{28 août 2023}
Is it worth paying for Standard Premier on Eurostar?
If you want a more luxurious experience, or even if you're travelling solo and prefer a single seating arrangement, Standard Premier is well worth the upgrade.
The upgrade doesn't cost much more if you book your Eurostar tickets in advance.
Are drinks free in standard premier on Eurostar?
Standard Premier includes:
A light meal and drinks served at your seat.
UK + EU plug sockets.
Extra spacious seats.
Free magazines.
Business Premier tickets are Eurostar's first-class offering for passengers who wish to travel in the highest levels of comfort.
They're usually the most expensive tickets available to buy, but they do offer plenty of flexibility and the best in onboard facilities.

The bottom line is that an upgrade is worth it for the spacious, comfortable and more tranquil carriages. Whether the food and drink on the Eurostar Premier service adds value is more questionable. If the prices of Standard and Standard Premier are close, it's a no-brainer.
