If you waive service then you must within the time specified on the waiver form serve an answer or a motion under Rule 12 on the plaintiff and file a copy

  • With the exception of motions filed pursuant to rule 9.410(b), a party may serve 1 response to a motion within 15 days of service of the motion.
    The court may shorten or extend the time for response to a motion.

    At the time of filing any motion, a party must serve all other parties.
    Unless otherwise provided by these rules or ordered by the presiding officer, all parties shall have seven days from date of service of the motion to file and serve a response.
