Shift guarantees are amounts of time that employees earn even if they work less time.
When employees work during shifts that contain a guaranteed amount, they earn at least the minimum amount of time specified by the guarantee.
If they work more than the guarantee, they accrue the amount of time actually worked.What do guaranteed hours mean?
