EPPO Reporting Service
Does Eppo have a digital archive?
The digitalization of all archives of the EPPO Reporting Service (1973 back to 1951) is still ongoing. In the EPPO Global Database, the ‘advanced search’ tool allows you to make full-text searches in the EPPO Reporting Service. A cumulative index (1967 to current year) can be downloaded as an Excel file.
What is the EPPO reporting service?
The EPPO Reporting Service is a free monthly newsletter on events of phytosanitary concern (e.g. new pest outbreaks, new host plants, new diagnostic methods). It focuses mainly on regulated pests (including invasive alien plants), as well as on emerging pests that may present a risk to the EPPO region.
What is EPPO Global Database?
EPPO Global Database is maintained by the Secretariat of the European and Mediterranean Plant Protection Organization (EPPO). The aim of the database is to provide all pest-specific information that has been produced or collected by EPPO. The database contents are constantly being updated by the EPPO Secretariat.
What is Eppo horizon scanning?
It focuses mainly on regulated pests (including invasive alien plants), as well as on emerging pests that may present a risk to the EPPO region. Short articles are prepared by the EPPO Secretariat which collects information from the scientific literature (horizon scanning) and receives official pest reports from the NPPOs of its member countries.
