Chapter 1 – Introduction
In a thesis introduction, you introduce your research question, explaining the importance of your research to your academic field, and briefly describing your research methodology.
In terms of how long is a doctoral dissertation introduction, a general rule is between 12-25 pages.The methodology section, chapter three should reiterate the research questions and hypotheses, present the research design, discuss the participants, the instruments to be used, the procedure, the data analysis plan, and the sample size justification.
