Comment administrer le Claforan ?
Claforan doit être administré par du personnel infirmier qualifié.
Il peut s'administrer au moyen d'une injection dans un muscle (voie intramusculaire) ou dans une veine (voie intraveineuse).
En cas d'injection intraveineuse, le contenu d'un flacon de Claforan doit être lentement injecté pendant 3 à 5 minutes.Pourquoi prendre du Claforan ?
Le Claforan est indiqué en cas d'infections sévères causées par des micro-organismes sensibles au Claforan (voir rubrique 5.1 « Propriétés pharmacodynamiques »).
Comment administrer céfotaxime ?
· Chez les patients sous hémodialyse : administration de 1 à 2 g par jour, en fonction de la gravité de l'infection; le jour de l'hémodialyse, le céfotaxime doit être administré après la séance de dialyse.
Injection directe en 3 à 5 minutes ou perfusion de 20 à 60 minutes.24 nov. 2021- En cas d'injection intramusculaire, dissoudre CEFOTAXIME VIATRIS 1 g, poudre pour solution injectable (IM - IV) dans 4 ml d'eau pour préparations injectables.

How is Claforan administered?
Dosage and route of administration should be determined by susceptibility of the causative organisms, severity of the infection, and the condition of the patient (see table for dosage guideline). CLAFORAN may be administered IM or IV after reconstitution. Premixed CLAFORAN Injection is intended for IV administration after thawing.

CLAFORAN may be administered IM or IV after reconstitution. Premixed CLAFORAN Injection is intended for IV administration after thawing. The maximum daily dosage should not exceed 12 grams.
What is the role of Claforan in the treatment of drug-resistant bacteria?
To reduce the development of drug-resistant bacteria and maintain the effectiveness of CLAFORAN and other antibacterial drugs, CLAFORAN should be used only to treat or prevent infections that are proven or strongly suspected to be caused by susceptible bacteria.
What is Claforan infusion in Galaxy ® containers (pl 2040 plastic)?
CLAFORAN Injection in Galaxy ® Containers (PL 2040 plastic) is for continuous or intermittent infusion using sterile equipment. Store in a freezer capable of maintaining a temperature of -20°C/-4°F. Thaw frozen container at room temperature or under refrigeration (at or below 5°C).
