Pourquoi prendre Claforan ?
CLAFORAN est habituellement prescrit pour :
Infection sévère sauf méningite à Listeria monocytogenes.
Septicémie.
Endocardite.
Méningite à l'exclusion de celle à Listeria monocytogenes.
Comment prendre Claforan ?
La dose recommandée est de 50 à 100 mg par kg de poids corporel par jour, à répartir en 2 à 4 injections.
Dans les cas exceptionnels, la posologie peut être augmentée jusqu'à 200 mg/kg de poids corporel.
Quelle maladie soigne la céfotaxime ?
Ce médicament est indiqué dans : · le traitement d'infections sévères, en particulier les septicémies, les endocardites et les méningites, · la prévention des infections lors des résections endoscopiques de prostate.
· aux infections sévères dues aux germes sensibles au céfotaxime, en particulier les septicémies, les endocardites et les méningites, à l'exclusion de celles à Listeria monocytogenes. · à la prophylaxie des résections endoscopiques de prostate.

THIS PRODUCT SHOULD BE GIVEN WITH CAUTION TO PATIENTS WITH TYPE I HYPERSENSITIVITY REACTIONS TO PENICILLIN.
