What is the limit of MSMED Act, 2006?
Micro Enterprise: Where the investment in Plant and Machinery or Equipment does not exceed one crore rupees and turnover does not exceed five crore rupees.
Small Enterprise: Where the investment in Plant and Machinery or Equipment does not exceed ten crore rupees and turnover does not exceed fifty crore rupees.It means that the maximum period that is allowed under the MSMED Act for payment to be made is 45 days from the date of delivery of goods or receipt of services, if no objections are made within 15 days from such a date.
