Does AppDynamics run as a SaaS?
In this scenario, all AppDynamics services run as SaaS and agents are configured to talk to the public SaaS endpoints. For EUM, by default, we resolve end-user locations using public geographic databases. Although not strictly required, we recommend using a reverse proxy such as NGINX or Apache for all server-side components.
How do I access performance data in AppDynamics?
You access performance data interactively using the Controller UI or programmatically using the AppDynamics REST API. AppDynamics app agents are installed on your JVM, .NET, or PHP application. They automatically inject instrumentation in application bytecode at runtime.
What are the components of AppDynamics?

Http SDK Connection
HTTP SDK is a middleware that exists between the ABAP Agent and the Controller. It uses an HTTP server that listens to a configured port and forwards commands from ABAP Agent to C++ SDK.
