How do I select a programmer in Arduino?
When you have selected a board in Arduino IDE, external programmers can be selected under Tools > Programmer in the menu bar.
The official Arduino nano has the FTDI FT232RL on it that you could actually use as a USB to UART TTL converter.
Most clones have a CH340.
Why do you think you need an FTDI device?? Connect the Arduino Nano to your computer using a USB cable.
