How do I access the Nvidia GRID release notes?
You must be a registered on the NVIDIA® Licensing Portal to access the release notes. The NVIDIA GRID (version 2.0 and above) enterprise software is designed to run on select NVIDIA Tesla® GPUs. Read through the following list before you begin the software installation: NVIDIA GRID Certified Servers.
How do I check if a VM is using a Nvidia driver?
Verify that the NVIDIA driver is running: Right-click on the desktop. The NVIDIA Control Panel will be listed in the menu. Select the NVIDIA Control Panel to open it. Select System Information in the NVIDIA Control Panel to report the Virtual GPU that the VM is using, its capabilities, and the NVIDIA driver version that is loaded.
How do I install the Nvidia GRID license server?
Select Download License File and save the .bin file onto your license server for installation. Java is required to install the NVIDIA GRID License Server. The package comes in a .zip file. IMPORTANT: The .bin file downloaded to your server is valid for 24 hours.
Does XenServer support Nvidia GRID virtual GPU manager supplemental pack?
The NVIDIA GRID Virtual GPU Manager supplemental pack is provided as an ISO. NVIDIA GRID Virtual GPU Manager supplemental pack installation and update are supported from XenServer 6.5 SP1 and XenCenter version 6.5 (build 6.5.2.2477) onwards. Select Install Update from the Tools menu.

For vSphere, use the following procedure: Open vCenter. Go to Edit VM settings. Add Shared PCI Device under New Device. Select Add. Select GPU profile, then select OK. Start VM. images.nvidia.com

For XenServer, use the following procedure: Select New VM using XenCenter and step through the New VM wizard. Select the Installation Media, Home Server, CPU & Memory option.
