What font does the times use?
It is based on an old serif font called Plantin and is one of the most popular fonts used in Microsoft Word. In 1929, The Times hired Stanley Morison to create a new text font. Together with Victor Lardent, Morison created the Times New Roman font, which was unveiled in 1932 for the British newspaper, Times, with great fanfare.
