What are the provisions of Article 1 to 6 of the convention?
As between the States Parties, the provisions of Article 1 to 6 of this Protocol shall be regarded as additional Articles to the Convention, and all the provisions of the Convention shall apply accordingly. This Protocol shall be open for signature by member States of the Council of Europe which have signed the Convention.
When does the European Union accede to the convention?
The European Union may accede to this Convention. The present Convention shall come into force after the deposit of ten instruments of ratification. As regards any signatory ratifying subsequently, the Convention shall come into force at the date of the deposit of its instrument of ratification.
Does this convention apply to traffic between Great Britain & Northern Ireland?
This Convention shall not apply to traffic between the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. Ad article 1, paragraph 4. The undersigned undertake to negotiate conventions governing contracts for furniture removals and combined transport.
