Why was the A380 plus cancelled?
Despite its design and promise to improve the existing A380 base by making it a more desirable aircraft, the A380plus faced the same problems as its A380-800.
It only worsened, given the platform the new variant didn't have for itself.
The market was ultimately changing and looking towards more point-to-point travel.
Why is there no A380 freighter?
The program's financial struggles and delays in production meant that Airbus was preoccupied with these challenges, and the A380 Freighter became a lower priority.
Airlines were also increasingly focusing on more fuel-efficient, twin-engine aircraft like the Boeing 777 and 787, as well as the Airbus A350._{19 nov. 2023}
