c harmonica second position
What does 2nd position on a harmonica mean?
2nd position means playing in the mixolydian mode.
If the harmonica is a C major harmonica, then that means 2nd position would be G mixolydian (so it starts on -2, which is a G).
The main 2nd position blues scale is -2 -3' 4 -4' -4 -5 6. "Cross harp" and "2nd position" mean exactly the same thing. (What is 1st 2nd and 3rd position on harmonica?
There are twelve "natural positions" (one for each semitone), numbered from 1st position as given (on a standard 10-hole diatonic) by the note on the 1 blow and going up round the cycle of 5ths - so on a C harp, 1st position gives C, 2nd position G, 3rd D, 4th A etc.
a position in which the feet are spread apart and are at right angles to the direction of the body, the toes pointing out.
