Should children with bronchiolitis take nasogastric tubes?
Give fluids by nasogastric or orogastric tube in children with bronchiolitis if they cannot take in enough fluid by mouth. Consider upper airway suctioning in children who have respiratory distress or feeding dificulties because of upper airway secretions.

While we clearly acknowledged in the guideline that a small proportion of children may appear to get a clinical benefit from bronchodilators (and there is significant disagreement as to whether the magnitude of said benefit is clinically meaningful), the majority of children with bronchiolitis do not stand to benefit.
