How was the A380 take-off model calculated?
Additional A380 technical data to create the take-off model were obtained from Jane’s All the World’s Aircraft3. The cumulative time, distance, altitude and fuel burn data are presented in Table 1 for the Flex (75%) and the Max take-off cases. The results were calculated using classical techniques for take-off analysis4.
How much does it cost to take a taxi on an A380?
So if both planes are fully booked, then in theory each passenger should pay the same for the taxi fuel -- it would become an issue though when the A380 has a low load factor. As of 20 April 2018, it would cost Emirates -- the largest A380 operator -- about $ 360 for a 12 min taxi in Dubai (less than a dollar per passenger).
How fast is a Boeing A380?
With a cruise speed of .85 Mach and a top speed of 634 mph, the A380 ranks among the top five fastest airliners. A fuel capacity of nearly 82,000 gallons, a fuel consumption rate of 10 g/nm and space for up to 853 passengers makes the A380 more fuel efficient per passenger than an average economy car. The Engine to Fly a World.
What are the danger areas of the A380 engine?
at usual take-off thrust (i.e. up to the maximum take-off power setting), if the loose objects are beyond 3 meters from the A380 outer engines centreline. This section gives danger areas of the engines at ground idle power conditions. : The access to the inner engine is possible only if the outer engine is off. Danger Areas of the Engines - Max.
