What is ACEA auto?
The European Automobile Manufacturers' Association, or ACEA, unites Europe's 15 major car, truck, van and bus makers.
We are the voice of the auto industry: a technological world leader and the backbone of the EU economy.
In 2022, the number of the EU-registered passenger cars reached almost 253 million, corresponding to an increase of 7.0 % as compared with 2017.
The highest number of registered passenger cars was observed in Germany with almost 49 million cars.
Followed by Italy (40 million cars) and France (39 million cars).
